"Our mission is to gather together for the sake of glorifying God, while growing in the grace of Christ & serving one another."
Matthew 25:35-40 "For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? The King will answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."
Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."
The vision will be supported by the members of the body of Christ through our dedication of our faith in God, submission to His will, obedience in giving tithes and offerings, and in our commitment to His church. God will become the God of our town; a number of families will come to faith. Worship in an accessible and informal style and a practical concern for the community, and involvement with it, will encourage people into the church. A plan of nurture and teaching alongside a growing fellowship will lead people into a deeper spiritual experience.
